We’re another step along the way!
Wendover Swimming CIO (the orgainisation picking up from where the WSA leaves off) has entered into a management with the John Colet School to manage the pool. The management agreement is a temporary arrangement until we are able to take on a proper lease.

We’re now responsible for the day-to-day running of the pool, and we’ll start to take all of the income – including membership and entry fees – but also all the fees from the various swim schools that we’ve introduced. At the same time though, we’ll also be taking on all of the costs – including chemicals, gas, electricity and water.

We’ve not increased our prices for several years, and we’ve extended membership for free for almost a year as we’ve been working to take over the pool. We’ve worked very hard to keep price rises to a minimum – and to make it fair and reasonable to all – but they will need to increase a little.

We’re increasing the cost of membership – but we’re keeping the cost of swimming for members exactly the same. Additionally, we’re changing the rules slightly so that you don’t need to be a member to swim (but it will cost you a little more). Check out all our new prices on our website.

As an added bonus, we’re extending existing memberships for free again! – all the way to the 31st of May! If you’re already a member you do not need to renew until then. If you’re not a member, you can join now.
