A new organisation, Wendover Swimming, has been registered by the Charity Commission as an incorporated charity (a CIO). Wendover Swimming CIO has been formed to take over the Wendover Pool and run it on a not for profit basis for the benefit of the community.

An outline agreement has been reached with the John Colet School by which Wendover Swimming will take a lease of the pool and surrounding ground for 30 years, beginning in early 2014.

On 9th December the members of the Wendover Swimming Association resolved to support the outline agreement between Wendover Swimming CIO and the John Colet School and agreed that WSA will transfer its assets and records to Wendover Swimming and then close down.
